ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Turino specializes in SomaYoga, and is the creator of Whole: A Formula for Well-Being – a revolutionary new way to approach your wellness. She is also a writer, teacher, speaker, and lifelong student of the Divine. Sarah is a spiritual leader, helping people come home to themselves in body, mind, and spirit.

Sarah’s Mission Statement

My heart’s deepest yearning is to recognize and honor the full humanity of anyone I work with. I recognize that there are cultural, social, physical and economic barriers that have made some wellness spaces unwelcoming to people of color, people of size, people in the LGBTQIA+ community and people of varying abilities. Part of my journey as a person and as a guide is learning how I can do more to open the spaces where I work to everyone.

I will strive to help each person connect with their beautiful selves. I will join people on their personal paths to reunite their body-mind-spirit connection.

I will serve each person with my highest intention meeting them are where they are physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I am committed to continual anti-racism work - internally and organizationally.

“I could not recommend Sarah enough. There is no judgment from her. We all have different strengths and weaknesses and Sarah knows and understands that, and is always willing to help."
"Sarah is one of the strongest, most beautiful, authentic and tender human beings I've ever met. She brought out my brave. She brought out my strength inside and out."
"Sarah makes wellness accessible to ALL and infuses your work with message of self-love and acceptance."

Giving Back

My yoga practice started with Swami Muktananda and Siddha Yoga when I was 9 years old. I am forever grateful to the teachings of Baba Muktananda and Gurumayi Chidvilasananda who I admired and looked up to as a child in India. A portion of my business is offered as dakshina to Baba & Gurumayi.

My yoga practice continued with Swami Rama of the Himalayan tradition now guided by the spiritual head of the Himalayan Institute, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD. These teachings were provided through Yoga North. A portion of my business supports the philanthropic work of the Himalayan Institute.

In addition, I support or have donated to the many people and funds through community care. I have provided links in the drop down boxes for you to check out and support.

It is my personal responsibility to make individual reparations to black and indigenous people. Reparations are a recognition that for 400 years this country has oppressed and marginalized black and indigenous people. I am doing my small part to offer reparations in my corner of the world.
