Functional Movement Part 1 Carry
Functional movement is a way of looking at your system as a whole. Instead of training just your biceps or just your calves...you look at how the body moves as a system.
Why is this important? So you can move without pain for life. So you can get stronger and do all of the things you like to do with ease. So you can age well. So your whole system can function better.
I came up with a nifty acronym to help me remember the components of functional movement.

There is so much benefit to carrying things or lugging things.
It strengthens you from head to toe. Carries train the lower and upper back, legs, and shoulders, while also hitting the deep stabilizing muscles of the core. In addition carrying supports all of the other movements to come. Learn more in the quick video below.
